About Our Board

The AYS Board of Directors is a dedicated group of community leaders who guide and support our mission to provide high-quality before and after school programs for children across Central Indiana. Board members bring a diverse range of expertise—from education and public policy to youth development and nonprofit leadership—to help shape the strategic direction of AYS. Through regular meetings and committee work, the Board ensures that AYS remains responsive to the needs of families, schools, and the communities we serve.

Board and Committee Involvement

AYS board members are expected to be actively involved in guiding the organization through both full board and committee engagement. The board meets six times per year, with an additional six committee meetings scheduled annually. Each committee plays a vital role in ensuring the strategic, financial, and operational strength of AYS.
